Cross-compiling
Cross-compiling what? Edit and Compile your Atari source code on a pc.
Cross-compiling
why? The pc has the capacities, fast, big memory and storage, internet
connection. The GNU compilers are continuously being developed and
updated. You can use a modern IDE. You can use updated MiNT libraries and
even the new Atari Game Tools AGT.
Cross-compiling is it any better? Eh, it all depends on who is behind the keyboard and what you want to create and how you do it. Even a good GFA program can be smaller, faster, easier to make than a non optimized C++ equivalent. As always: the sky is the limit.
Cross-compiling HOW??
-- coming soon.. a how to install a cross-compiler environment on the PC for Atarians. It is inspired by the dummies books, but Atarians are no dummies ofcourse!
